The couple made headlines on Tuesday after an unconfirmed rumor spread that Tarabasov proposed to Lohan over the weekend.
Not so, Lohan's publicist, Hunter Frederick, told ABC News.
"The story is untrue and holds no merit," he said in a statement.
Still, for those who want to get to know Lohan's new beau a little better, here are some fun facts about Tarabasov.
1. He's a Russian Business Heir
Tarabasov is the son of a multi-millionaire businessman Dmitry Tarabasov. The 22-year-old grew up in Moscow, then attended Cass Business School in London.
2. He Lives and Works in London
Lohan and Tarabasov recently moved in together in London, where Lohan has been living for the past few years. Lohan moved to London to act in the play "Speed the Plow," and Tarabasov works for real estate company called Home House Estates.
3. He and Lohan Fell for Each Other Quickly
Lohan and Tarabasov have been together for less than a year, but the two are apparently head-over-heels for each other. In March, Lohan posted a photo of Tarabasov on her Instagram, captioning the photo, "I love him."

Tarabasov, 22, is seven years younger than Lohan, 29, but the age difference doesn't seem to be a problem for the happy couple.

In an interview with US Weekly, Dina Lohan gushed about her daughter's new beau, calling him "so cute," and a "sweetheart."
"No, he's just a really good person," Dina said. "And the tabloids are like, 'Oh, he's so much younger.' But he's very mature, very worldly. They love each other."
