When Channing Tatum accidentally left his backpack in a New York City cab on Saturday, he turned to his seven million Twitter followers for help.

The "Magic Mike" star reached out to his fans after the taxi dropped him off at Times Square and he realized what he'd left behind.

In case his followers thought he was joking, Tatum even created a new email address specifically for any leads.

That seemed to work.

By Sunday, Tatum had his backpack back and expressed his gratitude to his followers and the person who found it.
