— -- Justin Bieber seems to have gotten into an altercation with a fan, allegedly punching the young man in the face, while in Barcelona for a concert.

The incident happened Tuesday night as Bieber was in the backseat of a vehicle going to the Palau Sant Jordi Stadium. The fan reached into the open car window to touch the singer and the video appears to clearly show the pop star throwing his right arm out to punch the young man in the face. The video appears to be taken from an onlooker.

The fan turns and shows his bloody lip from the hit.

Bieber's rep did not immediately respond to ABC News' request for comment.

The 22-year-old has been traveling the globe for his Purpose World Tour, which ends later this month in London. After a tumultuous 2014, Bieber and his reputation seemed to be on the mend over the past two years.

But his tour hasn't always gone smoothly. He fell onstage in July, then asked fans that same month to stop throwing gifts while he was performing in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

"Take this moment to listen and try not to give me a hat or whatever you're trying to throw onto the stage right now," Bieber said in a video taken by a fan. "I probably don't want that s---."

Then last month, he was recorded walking off stage in England when fans wouldn't stop screaming during one of his shows.

“I appreciate love, I appreciate the kind things, but the screaming in these breaks has got to stop. Please and thank you. I don’t think it’s necessary when I’m trying to say something and you guys are screaming," he said before walking off. He later returned and explained that he wasn’t getting respect and courtesy, according to Entertainment Weekly.

TMZ, DailyMail and other outlets have obtained and posted the video of the altercation.
