Wilson Phillips Reenacts 'Bridesmaids' Wedding Scene
The band reunited for a couple's wedding in Bali. Watch what happened!
— -- Jaclyn Reutens recently served as the maid of honor at her friend Liz's wedding, but felt guilty that she wasn't able to throw her a bachelorette party.
Determined to make it up to her friend, Reutens made the reception extra-special.
"In 2011 ... 'Bridesmaids' came out, and she sent me and Jo an email, and the email said, 'Hi girls, I just watched 'Bridesmaids' last Friday with some girls from work. It was quirky, not cheesy, surprisingly hilarious and most of all it made me miss the two of you," Reutens said in a speech. "I said, 'The day Liz gets married, I'm going to do something really outrageous.'"
With that, Reutens revealed the surprise she'd spent months preparing: a performance by the band Wilson Phillips, who reenacted their famous scene from the Kristin Wiig film.
"We just want to wish Liz and Mike a wonderful life together. One full of happiness and joy, and full of love," Carnie Wilson told the wedding guests. "Jaclyn and Liz have been friends for so many years, and same with us... There's nothing like friendship."
