In honor of "Captain Marvel" soaring into theaters and "Avengers: Endgame" being released on April 26, 2019, we are celebrating some of the most badass moments from Marvel heroines.

From Black Widow to Gamora, these ladies inspire us to go out there and save the world.

1. When we first meet Black Widow

Before Black Widow fought alongside Iron Man in the Avengers, she spied on him as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent using the alias Natalie Rushman in "Iron Man 2."

She might have appeared shy and sweet at first, but Tony Stark quickly learned she was not one to mess with.

2. Okoye and Nakia are the real dream team

Okoye and Nakia, played by Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong'o, respectively, are queens in their own right in Wakanda.

Remember their epic showdown in the casino alongside T'Challa in "Black Panther"?

This was the definition of fierce.

3. When Gamora puts Star-Lord in his place

One could argue that the real guardian of the Guardians of the Galaxy is Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana.

She's fierce, she's smart and she is the best partner for Star-Lord, played by Chris Pratt, because she does not fall for his tricks.

When he tried to woo the assassin in "Guardians of the Galaxy," she responded with this:

4. Captain Marvel's powers are lit

Marvel's first female-led superhero proves that she can always go "higher, further, faster."

We'll likely never forget the moment when she unleashes her true powers in her first film.

5. When Black Widow kicks butt with her hands tied

A moment from "The Avengers" when Black Widow proved she could literally do the impossible: when she beat three men with her hands tied behind her back.

6. When Scarlet Witch was trying to save the love of her life and the world

Scarlet Witch had to deal with a lot in "Avengers: Infinity War." As she was trying to protect her love, Vision, she was also trying to save the world with her teammates.

Can we say major girl crush?

7. Shuri proves that smart girls are the most badass

Let's be real: Black Panther, or T'Challa, would not be the hero he is without the help of his intelligent sister, Shuri.

8. Everyone needs a Wasp to their Ant-Man

You know what they say, good things come in small packages. In this case, that would be everyone's favorite tiny Avengers, Ant-Man and The Wasp.

The Wasp, or Hope Pym, helped mold Scott Lang into the hero he is today.

9. Valkyrie's epic face-off with Hela

Valkyrie deserves a thunderous round of applause for her battle against Thor's evil sister, Hela, in "Thor: Ragnarok."

10. No one can fly like Captain Marvel

We can't complete our list without including Captain Marvel's flying skills.

The sky is the limit for these Marvel heroines!
