Adam Sandler reveals what he did on the night of his graduation in message to class of 2020
The actor shared a message to graduates on Twitter on Tuesday.
Adam Sandler is the one of the latest public figures to send well-wishes to the class of 2020.
In his congratulatory message for graduates, the actor and comedian, 53, wished students luck in their endeavors and shared what he did on the night of his high school graduation.
"Hellooooo high school and college class of 2020. Holy cow. Way to go. You did it. You are officially smart," he wrote on Twitter, attaching his graduation photo to the message. "You worked hard and you deserve the respect."
"Sorry it’s a rough time to be graduating, but you know what I did the night of my high school graduation?" he continued. "I sat at home with my parents and we all just stared at each other just like you’re doing now. Then the fun began."
He finished his note with a call for students to "get ready to go save the world."
"We need you," the "Uncut Gems" actor wrote, signing his tweet, "Love, The Sandman."
The Brooklyn-born actor graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 1988. His message comes after a slew of other notable celebs shared remarks for the class of 2020.
Matthew McConaughey sent an uplifting message to grads in a commencement speech, Ryan Reynolds gave his best piece of advice to the class of 2020 and Tom Hanks shared another message on why this year's class is so special.
Brad Pitt also shared some inspiring words for graduates: "Our money's on you to make this world a better place, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors," he said in a video message for Missouri State University students.
