Adam Sandler's newest film, "Hubie Halloween," pays tribute to one of his movie sons, the late Cameron Boyce, in the sweetest way.

As "Hubie Halloween" ends, but before the credits begin to roll, there's an onscreen dedication "in loving memory of" Boyce -- who starred as Sandler's son in 2010's "Grown Ups" and 2013's "Grown Ups 2."

"Gone way too soon and one of the kindest, coolest, funniest, and most talented kids we knew. You live on forever in our hearts and are truly missed every day," the tribute reads alongside a photo of him.

Boyce, who is most famous for the "Descendants" franchise, died suddenly in his sleep at the age of 20 from an epileptic seizure on July 6, 2019.

Back in May, Sandler marked what would have been Boyce's 21st birthday by honoring the Disney Channel star in a heartfelt social media post.

"Such a great kid," the comedian wrote at the time about the "Jessie" actor. "We all miss him a lot. Especially his incredible family."
