Amber Riley leads moving singalong of Beyonce's 'Freedom' at Los Angeles protest

Amber Riley is one of the many protestors uniting across the nation to show solidarity for Black Lives Matter in the wake of George Floyd's death.
The actress and singer, who starred as Mercedes Jones on "Glee," attended a protest in Los Angeles at Mayor Eric Garcetti's residence, the Getty House in Windsor Square, on Tuesday.
Perhaps one of the most touching moments captured from the peaceful demonstration was when Riley led the crowd in singing "Freedom" from Beyoncé's 2016 album "Lemonade."
Sharing a video of the moment, the actress captioned her post, "What an honor," adding the hashtags, "#blacklivesmatter," "#defundthepolice" and "#prosecutekillercops."
She also shared another powerful speech from the protest on her Instagram.
Since Floyd's death on May 25, protests have broken out nationwide and worldwide with demonstrators calling for an end to police brutality and violence against black people.
Former Minneapolis officer Derek Chauvin, who was seen kneeling on Floyd's neck for almost nine minutes as Floyd repeatedly declared that he couldn't breathe, was charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter on May 29. He received an additional charge of second-degree murder on Wednesday.
The three other officers involved in Floyd's arrest, Thomas Lane, J.A. Kueng and Tou Thao, were each charged Wednesday with second-degree aiding and abetting felony murder and second-degree aiding and abetting manslaughter, according to court documents.
