Bindi Irwin recreates Terri and Steve Irwin's precious maternity photo
"Recreating a very special moment. Third trimester love."
Bindi Irwin honored her father by "recreating a very special moment" for her latest pregnancy photo.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday to show off her "third trimester love," the "Crikey! It's the Irwins" star posted a photo of her standing to the side and embracing her pregnant stomach as husband Chandler Powell bends over to kiss her stomach.
She shared a side-by-side comparison to a photo of her mother, Terri Irwin, that was taken when she was pregnant with Bindi's brother, Robert, who is now 17.
The photo shows Bindi's late father, Steve Irwin, bending down to kiss Terri's tummy and a young Bindi doing the same.
Bindi is not only posing exactly like her mother in her recreated version of the special snapshot, she also wore a similar outfit for the occasion.
Powell, of course, is dressed up in his zookeeper's uniform -- the khaki shirt and shorts combo with work boots -- just like Steve was in the 2003 photo.
The Australia Zoo, which was founded by Bindi's grandparents Bob and Lyn Irwin in 1970 and is now owned by her mother, approved of the homage and praised in the comment section, "You're going to be the most incredible parents. We love you Baby Wildlife Warrior."
Bindi, 22, and Chandler, 24, previously revealed they are expecting a baby girl.
