Photos of Blake Lively on set of the upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel "It Ends with Us" have surfaced.
Lively will play the book's main character Lily Bloom in the upcoming film, which will be directed by Justin Baldoni.
Baldoni will play Ryle Kincaid, the man Lily falls for. The book touches largely on domestic abuse, which Hoover has previously said was inspired by her mother's own escape from an abusive relationship.
Lively was seen in character on set in New York City, sporting Lily's signature red hair.
Fans of the viral "BookTok" sensation took to TikTok to share their reactions to the photos.
The fandom has closely followed casting updates for the film adaptation.
Baldoni was also seen with Lively on set.
It was announced previously that "1923" actor Brandon Sklenar will play Atlas Corrigan, Lily's other love interest in the novel. Actress Jenny Slate will play Allysa, Lily's best friend and Ryle's sister.
Lively and Hoover are also executive producers for the film.
