Dolly Parton shares rare throwback photo with husband Carl Thomas Dean
"Happy #Thanksgiving from me and mine to you and yours," Parton wrote.
Dolly Parton gave fans something to celebrate this Thanksgiving.
The country music legend shared a rare throwback photo with her longtime husband, Carl Thomas Dean, when wishing everyone a happy holiday on social media.
"Happy #Thanksgiving from me and mine to you and yours," Parton, 75, wrote on Thursday, adding a red heart emoji to the end of her message.
The "Jolene" singer and Dean wed in 1966. Dean has maintained a sense of privacy throughout their marriage despite Parton's superstar status in the country music world.
Last year Parton opened up to "Good Morning America" about her life with Dean.
"He's pretty much a loner and a homebody, and I'm a gypsy. But when I'm home, I love that," she said at the time. "We don't do the same thing so it gives us different stuff to talk about. He doesn't get involved in my business, and I don't in his, so we have our own little world that we create for ourselves."
