'Harry Potter' actress Bonnie Wright gives birth, shares 1st photo of son
Wright revealed that son Elio was born at home Sept. 19.
Actress Bonnie Wright has welcomed her first child with husband Andrew Lococo.
Wright, who played Ginny Weasley in the "Harry Potter" films, took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce that the couple had welcomed their son Elio Ocean Wright Lococo, who was born at home Sept. 19.
"We're all healthy and happy. Andrew and I are so in love with our sun 🌞!" she captioned a sweet photo of Elio taking a nap.
"So grateful for our birth team that have held our hands throughout and made the journey so joyous and expanding," she continued, thanking their midwives, doula and doctor for their support. "Birth is the wildest experience!"
Wright also thanked her husband for standing by her side the whole time and praised him for his first days as a dad.
"Lastly thanks to Andrew my rock throughout birth quite literally as I squeezed onto you so tight and you never wavered. Elio has the most tender loving papa," she wrote. "Ok hormonal emotional extra long caption over!"
Wright wed Lococo in March 2022 and announced they were expecting their first child together in April.
