Stars including Beyoncé, Queen Latifah, Ciara, Kelly Rowland and Gabrielle Union attended the opening week of Janet Jackson’s "Metamorphosis" Las Vegas residency, and the leader of the “Rhythm Nation” was very grateful for the celebrity support.
“Thank U to all my beautiful friends and family who came out to support me for my opening week in Vegas,” Janet said in an Instagram post along with a photo of Latifah and Union. “It means so much to me. Love u all.”
Tiger Woods, Questlove from The Roots, Magic Johnson, Teyana Taylor, Johnny Gill, Tank and Eve were also among the stars enjoying Janet’s show at Park MGM’s Park Theater.
Woods hosted his 21st annual Tiger Jam charity weekend in Vegas benefiting his TGR Foundation and 600 of those participants attended one of Jackson’s concerts.
“I am grateful to Janet Jackson, our guests who attended, along with all the sponsors and donors who support the event every year,” Tiger said in a statement. “This support helps us reach our goal at TGR Foundation to reach millions of kids through education.”
The golf icon also posted Janet's photo with him, in which she commented, "Thank U so much for celebrating your @tgrfound’s 21st #TigerJam at #MetamorphosisVegas this weekend. I love that we share the same mission to create a world where opportunity is limitless for all. And a big applause for #HarvardUniversity student Chia Obilo on her accomplishments as an Earl Woods Scholar!"
Janet’s next performances will be June 29 at the Glastonbury Festival in England and June 30 at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. Her "Metamorphosis" residency resumes July 24 and will continue through Aug. 17.
