Jay-Z normally is not one to talk about his private life but, in a new interview, the proud dad divulged some precious secrets about how he and Beyoncé are raising their three children.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, the 51-year-old Grammy winner opened up about what it is like to parent his 9-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, and 3-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir.

Touching upon the pressure his little ones may face because of their parents' superstar status, he said: "Feeling loved is the most important thing a child needs, you know? Not 'Here's this business that I'm going to hand over to you, that I'm creating for you.'"

Blue Ivy appears to be following in her parents' footsteps, as she's already certified herself as one of the youngest Grammy winners in history thanks to the 2020 hit "Brown Skin Girl," on which she sang alongside her mom, SAINt JHN and WizKid.

However, if Blue, Rumi or Sir choose to pursue another career, Jay-Z said he'll be nothing but supportive.

"What if my child doesn't want to be in music or sports? I have no idea, right? But as long as your child feels supported, and feels loved, I think anything is possible," he noted.

"It's easy for us, as human beings, to want our children to do certain things, but we have no idea. We're just guides," he continued, noting that he and Beyoncé are making "sure we provide a loving environment, be very attentive to who they want to be."

As for how he and Beyoncé, 39, navigated last year's COVID-19 lockdown, he said he used the time to "sit down and really connect, and really focus on family and being together, and take this time to learn more about each other."

Jay-Z and the "Single Ladies" singer celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on April 4.
