Jennifer Garner says Mark Ruffalo almost quit rom-com '13 Going on 30'
She said her co-star Ruffalo wasn't a fan of the famous dance scene.
The 2004 romantic fantasy film, "13 Going on 30," that starred Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo, almost didn't end up that way.
During a recent interview with The Skimm, Garner revealed that her co-star considered dropping out of the project all because of that iconic "Thriller" dance scene he had to learn.
"We started to learn the dance. Our first rehearsal, I think it was Mark and Judy [Greer], and Judy and I were both dancers growing up and poor Mark didn't know that," the actress shared.
"And he came in and he hated the rehearsal process so much he almost dropped out of the movie," she continued.
Obviously, we know that Ruffalo stuck with it and, as it turns out, the scene is Garner's favorite memory from the movie.
The actress also stars with Ruffalo in another upcoming film, "The Adam Project." During a recent appearance on "Good Morning America," she said it was "wonderful" reuniting with him onscreen
"We were playing a married couple and we just had this instant comfort and obviously there's just such a connection and a warmth," she said.
"It was actually a really beautiful experience to revisit that relationship," she added.
