'Jersey Shore' star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro arrested for alleged domestic violence

He was taken into custody early Friday morning.

"Jersey Shore" star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was arrested early Friday morning for alleged domestic violence.

ABC News' affiliate KABC reports he was arrested round 2:40 a.m. in Los Angeles after multiple calls were made to authorities.

Authorities told KABC that Ortiz-Magro was involved in a physical altercation with a woman, who has yet to be identified.

The reality star was tased by police then arrested. He was also taken to a local hospital.

While he has not yet been booked, police tell KABC that he will be booked for felony domestic violence.

After running from 2009 until 2012, the reality show "Jersey Shore" got a reboot in "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" last year. Ortiz-Magro was one of the main stars that came back for this new show.
