Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler announce divorce after 7 years of marriage
"This is just the situation of two people growing apart."
Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler have called it quits after seven years of marriage.
"With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce," the reality star, who rose to prominence on "Laguna Beach" and then "The Hills," wrote Sunday on Instagram alongside a photo of them walking off into the distance.
"We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of," she continued, referencing their three kids -- son Camden, 7, son Jaxon, 5, and daughter Saylor, 4.
Cavallari, 33, and the former NFL quarterback, 36, starred together on their reality show "Very Cavallari," which premiered in 2018 and followed their life together. The series, which has shown ups and downs in their relationship, just finished airing its third season in March.
The pair began dating in 2010 and tied the knot in 2013.
"This is just the situation of two people growing apart," her post concluded. "We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family."
