Lionel Richie shared a touching note to his daughter Sofia Richie on Monday, following her wedding in the south of France over the weekend.
In an Instagram post featuring photos from his daughter's special day, the iconic singer-songwriter and "American Idol" judge wrote, "My little girl is all grown up and starting her own journey with the love of her life."
The photos in his post, shot by photographer German Larkin, showed the sweet moment the famous father of three walked his daughter down the aisle, another shot of the two posing with Lionel Richie's eldest daughter Nicole Richie, and the bride smiling with her new husband, music executive Elliot Grainge.
Lionel Richie also shared a sweet note addressing Sofia Richie directly, writing, "You'll always be my little bird, but I'm so proud of the woman you've become. Endless Love to you and Elliot. 🤍 @sofiarichie @elliot"
Sofia Richie commented on her father's post, "I love you so much dad," adding three teary-eyed emoji.
The bride also shared a TikTok video featuring highlights from her wedding weekend, including her walk down the aisle with her father during the wedding ceremony.
