Celebs gushed on social media after coming face-to-face with their idols and friends at the 91st Academy Awards on Sunday.

Here are a few moments we love.

Julia Roberts and Paul Rudd

Roberts, who presented the Oscar for best picture, snapped a selfie with Rudd, writing on Instagram, "Ran into this fella. My pal Paul- he is an original. #Oscars91 #actualfriend."

Jennifer Hudson meets Glenn Close, Bette Midler

Hudson met nominee Close on the red carpet. She later shared an image of the pair on Facebook, writing, "Such an honor."

Hudson was also introduced to Bette Midler backstage. "That moment when you finally get to meet @bettemidler @theacademy OMG! I love her," Hudson captioned on a Facebook video of the meeting.

"We're color-coordinated!" Midler can be heard saying to Hudson in the footage. "Are you going to sing again? You should be singing all the songs."

Jason Momoa meets Barbra Streisand, Helen Mirren

Momoa hit the carpet on Sunday night with his wife, Lisa Bonet. The "Aquaman" star posted a few encounters on social media, one being with Barbra Streisand.

"Mom. I met BABS," Momoa wrote on Instagram. "love u ma."

Momoa also shared a selfie with Helen Mirren and posed with his former "Game of Thrones" co-star, Emilia Clarke.

Helen Mirren swooned over meeting Momoa in a post of her own, writing, "Backstage oh Lord lucky me."

Mirren also posed with Sarah Paulson, who matched in pink.

Selma Blair and Shonda Rhimes

Blair snapped a selfie with Rhimes at the Vanity Fair Oscars dinner, writing on Instagram, "Congratulations to all the amazing talent."

Adam Lambert and Rami Malek

Lambert performed with Queen last night, paying homage to the band's late lead singer Freddie Mercury. Lambert also shared a pic with best actor winner, Rami Malek, who played Mercury in the film "Bohemian Rhapsody."

Richard E. Grant meets Barbra Streisand

Grant, a best supporting actor nominee, tweeted some pics of his encounter with Streisand.

"Being Oscar nominated was pretty amazing, but meeting with @barbrastreisand and having a proper conversation was an absolute astonishment," Grant wrote.
