Simone Biles shares update on wedding planning
The Olympic gold medalist has locked in a date for her upcoming nuptials.
Simone Biles is getting closer to walking down the aisle!
The Olympic gold medalist, who announced her engagement to Houston Texans safety Jonathan Owens in February, shared an update on wedding planning over the weekend.
Alongside a photo kissing her fiance, Biles revealed the couple had secured their venue and wedding date. She didn't disclose either in the post, but captioned the sweet shot, "one step closer to becoming Mrs. Owens."
Owens also shared a post featuring several snaps with his fiancee, along with the caption, "One step closer to forever with you ❤️"
In March, Biles announced she had secured her dress for the big day.
She posted a photo of herself smiling and holding a message that read "I said yes to the dress at Galia Lahav."
In her post announcing her engagement in February, Biles wrote: "I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married! 🕊🤎 @jjowens_3"
The couple went public with their relationship in 2020.
