Songs by Rihanna, Michael Jackson top list of YouTube's most popular Halloween tunes

Happy Halloween, all you monsters and ghouls! In honor of the world's scariest holiday, YouTube has unveiled a list of the top 31 songs on the site last Halloween. They include timeless and occasionally spooky tunes by quite a few veteran artists.

Topping the list is Ray Parker Jr.'s smash hit theme song to the 1984 film "Ghostbusters," followed at No. 2 by the Michael Jackson classic "Thriller." In third place is perhaps the quintessential Halloween song, Bobby "Boris" Pickett's "Monster Mash."

The No. 4 song is one-hit-wonder Rockwell's "Somebody's Watching Me," which famously features guest vocals by Jackson. Further down in the top 10 is Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London" at No. 8.

Other tunes on the list by veteran pop and rock acts include the Steve Miller Band's "Abracadabra" at No. 14, Blue Öyster Cult's "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" at No. 15 and KC and The Sunshine Band's "I'm Your Boogie Man" at No. 16.

Further down the tally, it's The Searchers' "Love Potion No. 9" at No. 19, Talking Heads' "Psycho Killer" at No. 20, Screamin' Jay Hawkins' "I Put a Spell on You" at No. 25, Alice Cooper's "Feed My Frankenstein" at No. 28 and Van Halen's "Runnin' with the Devil" at No. 29.
