Tom Holland sounds off on all the Spider-Man leaving MCU talk: 'It's been a crazy week'

After reports last week that Spider-Man is leaving the MCU after Marvel and Sony failed to make a deal moving forward, the star himself has spoken out in a positive way.
Tom Holland spoke to "GMA" this weekend at Disney's D23 Expo and said that "it's been a crazy week."
"Trending on Twitter is not always the best thing," Holland said about fans crying out to keep Spidey in the MCU.
"We don't really know what the future holds for Spider-Man," he said.
But, he said, "It's not the end of my run and we'll continue to make great movies."
Holland's upbeat outlook comes after news broke Tuesday that Sony and Marvel had shut down talks to extend a partnership they began a few years back to use Spider-Man in upcoming Marvel films.
Fans lost their minds, taking to the hashtag #SaveSpiderMan to voice their concerns.
Even Jeremy Renner, who played Hawkeye in the "Avengers," commented, "Hey @sonypictures we want Spider-Man back to @therealstanlee and @marvel please, thank you #congrats #spidermanrocks #please."
Still, we don't yet know what's really happening and nothing has been officially announced by Marvel or Disney.
