Stanley Tucci enjoys leftover pasta for his solo birthday lunch
The actor, 64, enjoyed a northern Italian classic in his trailer.
Stanley Tucci enjoyed a simple, solo birthday lunch complete with a single balloon and a "very good" plate of pasta.
The actor posted a selfie video on Instagram early Monday to his nearly 5 million followers, many of whom have become fans of his regular home cooking videos, while celebrating turning 64.
"I'm in my trailer, I had a short break. I'm eating my lunch that I brought from home. It's venison bolognese with tagliatelle, it's very good I have to say," Tucci said while eating leftovers of the famed northern Italian dish.
"It's my birthday today too," he continued, reaching for a red ballon. "See," Tucci said, chewing his pasta and tossing the balloon aside before wiping his face and waving goodbye.
"Birthday lunch for one. Venison Bolognese with Tagliatelle. It’s very good," he wrote in the caption alongside the video.

He also hosted the culinary travel show, "Searching for Italy," from 2021-2022 before it was canceled by CNN.
Tucci frequently cooks at home, welcoming his social media followers into his kitchen with videos filmed by his wife Felicity Blunt, to share simple recipes, cooking tips or stories of a snapshot of culinary history about the food he's preparing.
