Jennifer De Angelo-Baxter is taking Halloween to the next level.

The 36-year-old art teacher has been transforming herself into a famous portrait every week leading up to Halloween.

De Angelo-Baxter, who teaches at a middle school in Northern Virginia, has been teaching for 12 years.

This is the first time she is doing 100% distanced learning and says it has been an adjustment.

Typically, De Angelo-Baxter would dress up for her students for Halloween, but since she won’t be seeing them in person this year, she said she wanted to find a way to connect with them.

“Doing creative things like this, outside the box, is kind of my way of just finding another way to connect,” De Angelo-Baxter said in an interview with “Good Morning America.”

So far she has transformed into Leonardo da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa,” Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring,” Frida Kahlo’s “Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird,” and Andy Warhol’s “The Marilyn Diptych.”

She says her looks take around one to two hours to create, and she tries to work on them when her two children are napping.

De Angelo-Baxter has been posting her looks online so that both her past and present students can see.

“This is something that I always did for fun. But now in the virtual environment, I decided to take it to another level for my kids,” De Angelo-Baxter said.

De Angelo-Baxter has one more look for Halloween that she can’t wait to reveal to her students.
