A Delta Air Lines flight attendant is being praised for her "contagious positivity" at JFK International Airport after the tragic death of NBA star Kobe Bryant.

On Jan. 26, a video tweeted by Ayre Sufrin shows the Delta employee, named in another tweet as Courtney, encouraging passengers awaiting at the gate to treasure their lives and reach out to their loved ones.

"It wasn't an easy day," the attendant said in the pre-flight pep talk. "But just know we are here with you … We might have lost something great, a legend, but remember the spirit is with us always."

Bryant and his 13-year old daughter, Gianna, were among 9 passengers who died in a helicopter crash while on their way to a youth basketball game at his Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks.

Emotional tributes from celebrities and fans alike have been pouring in following Sunday's tragic helicopter crash in Calabasas. Many of them, inspired by the legacy of Bryant, center around the importance of living life to the fullest.

The attendant continued, "At Delta, we celebrate life, and we celebrate love."
