Witchy Wine Bottle Covers
Try these wine bottle covers inspired by Martha Stewart Crafts. Use as decor or as a hostess gift for your next Halloween bash.
What you need:
Wine bottles without labels (remove using lukewarm water and scrub with baking soda)
Pre-cut paper decorations and/or cardstock
Hot glue gun
Scissors
How to DIY:
Use hot glue gun to adhere pre-cut Halloween decorations to bottle or cut out bat wings and ghost and create a witch hat from cardstock, adhere and serve!
Not So Itsy Bitsy Spider
Surprise the kiddos (and send a clear message that it’s Halloween!) with this Pool Noodle Spider on your lawn.
What you need:
Small lightweight ball (head)
Big lightweight ball (body)
16 pool noodles
Googley eyes
2 rolls black Duct tape
X-Acto knife (to cut pool noodles)
How to DIY:
1. Start by covering both balls in black Duct tape.
2. Attach the balls together to form a body.
3. Add eyes to the front of the head.
4. Partially cut pool noodles in middle to bend.
5. Tape noodles at a bend.
6. Attach legs to the body.
Colorful Crayon Candles
Calling all color lovers! Give your candles a hallo-upgrade with this simple melted crayon DIY.
What you need:
Candle
Crayons
Dixie cup
Microwave/ stove to melt
Bowl of water
How to DIY:
Grab a candle and your favorite crayon colors
Soak crayons in a bowl of water (3 mins) to remove paper labels
Melt your crayons (separately) in a dixie cup for 1 minute in the microwave
Create a drip design around the candle by pouring in a circle around the top. Repeat with as many colors as you’d like!
Spooky Balloon Decor Hacks
It doesn’t get easier (or less expensive) than this! Grab a pack of black balloons and add ears or wings for maximum punch.
What you need:
Black balloonsPre-cut paper decorations and/or cardstockHot glue gun Scissors
How to DIY:
1. Blow up balloons to desired size
2. Cut your shapes out from cardstock (leave a little extra room to fold the shape)
3. Make a small fold on the bottom of your cat ear or bat wing and add hot glue
4. Attach the flat side of the fold to your balloon
5. Add eyes with felt, googly eyes, or leftover paper!
