During the ongoing global coronavirus crisis, the growing need for personal protective equipment has been vital. As a result, several fashion brands such as Carolina Herrera have been turning to their teams to produce gear for those in need.

On Saturday, the luxury fashion label shared a video of its production staff creating hospital gowns that gives everyone an inside look at the process.

"Every day, we collect raw materials from specialized health institutions, use a pattern that has been digitized to cut and tailor the garments, and deliver the final product for sterilization," the company wrote in a post. "We plan day by day to tirelessly meet the changing needs of our doctors, hospitals, and nurses."

In addition to hospital masks, Carolina Herrera has also already started to manufacture masks for the food and health industries.

A video of this process was also shared on Instagram.

"We are proud to help those who are supporting our communities," the brand wrote in a caption. "We encourage you to do your part too."

Carolina Herrera joins other designers such as Christian Siriano, Brandon Maxwell, and others who are transforming their facilities into PPE manufacturing spaces.
