Jada Pinkett Smith is opening up and getting real about her hair loss journey.

The actress, who has alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that attacks hair follicles, posted a short clip revealing a bare strip of hair loss on her closely shaved head.

"Now at this point, I can only laugh," Pinkett Smith said as she displayed the top of her head. "Y'all know I've been struggling with alopecia, and just all of a sudden one day, look at this line right here."

She continued, "But you know mama's going to put some rhinestones in there. And I'm just going to make me a little crown. That's what mama's going to do."

The "Red Table Talk" mentioned that the bare patch all of a sudden appeared one day and how it is going to be a little bit more difficult to hide. "So I thought I'd just share it so y'all are not asking any questions."

In addition to her revealing video, Pinkett Smith captioned the post saying, "Mama’s gonna have to take it down to the scalp so nobody thinks she got brain surgery or something. Me and this alopecia are going to be friends … period!"

Since posting, the actress' honest moment has received more than 1 million views with one person commenting, "Gorgous as always... it's your tiara spot!"

In July, Pinkett Smith wowed fans with her new cut, sharing that her daughter Willow Smith inspired her to do it.

In an Instagram post sharing her new look with fans, she said, "My 50's are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed."
