Tracee Ellis Ross extends Pattern haircare line to include styling products, tools
The latest offerings include stylers, tool and minis.
Curly communities went wild when Tracee Ellis Ross debuted her haircare line, Pattern, in 2019. It was designed to specifically tend to the needs of people with curly, coily or tightly textured hair.
The collection debuted with a variety of shampoos, conditioners, treatment products and a few tools, as well as accessories. Now the line is expanding with more styling products, tools and so much more.
On Instagram, Ross shared a video revealing the news surrounding Pattern's latest roundup of products, launching on June 19.
"As we continue to protest and gather and strategize and hold those in power accountable and reimagine our future and vote, I am reminded that celebrating Black beauty is part of this revolution," she said in the video. "I'm reminded of the urgency that propelled me to persist for 10 years to create Pattern."
The latest launches will specifically include five styling products, three tools/accessories, four shower-line additions and two kits.
Key ingredients included throughout the line include matcha green tea extract, aloe vera, jojoba oil and other nourishing add-ins.
"It's always been the plan to bring styling products to Pattern," Ross said in a statement. "Curlies, coilies and tight textures know our hair, the types of products that work for us, and what we want."
She continued by expressing how the brand has been listening to feedback from customers as a part of their development process.
"I'm super proud of how the brand and our community have come together as we continue to fulfill the beauty needs of the natural hair community," Ross said.
Ross continued in her video: "I can't wait for you guys to see the imagery, and the new language, and our new poetic piece, and to get all the details about every single product."
"Let's celebrated who we are," she added. "Let's celebrate our beauty, shall we?"
As a continuation of charitable initiatives the brand already had in place to empower people of color and women, the brand also announced efforts will be made to support those acutely affected by COVID-19.
The latest drop will be available on Pattern's website on June 19 and in Ulta Beauty stores as well as online starting June 28.
