April 6, 2009 — -- Dogs are often said to look like their owners, but what about their favorite morning show anchors?

Last week "Good Morning America" asked viewers to send in pictures of their dogs they think resemble either Chris Cuomo or Sam Champion.

With dozens of of people responding, it was a tough choice, but we picked a few favorites.

Cisco the Havanese

First there's Cisco, a Havanese, sent in by Michele Crabtree of Murrells Inlet, S.C.

Crabtree told us Cisco "likes to 'root around' on the bed, tossing the pillows and blankets, which is what he was doing when I took this picture, as if to say 'What are you lookin' at me for?'"

We think he resembles Chris Cuomo because in this picture he has a "befuddled look, like Chris does when y'all are teasing him."

Misty the Cockapoo

Misty, the Cockapoo, was sent in by Tracy Pepple of Waterloo, Ind., who wrote, "Our dog looks like Chris Cuomo because of the black curly hair, big brown eyes, and floppy ears. Misty looks like Chris some mornings when he is wondering 'What is Sam up to now?'"

Frampton the English Mastiff

And then there's Frampton, a 14-month-old English mastiff, sent in by Joan Corrado of West Chester, Pa. She wrote, "Frampton weighs 197 pounds and acts rough and tough, but is a big pussy cat at heart. He wouldn't hurt a fly." Awwww.

As for the Sam Champion look-alikes, we couldn't resist picking Sam, a male Chihuahua who was actually named after Sam, according to owner Susan McCoy of San Augustine, Texas. Doggie Sam has a daughter named Samantha.

McCoy said she's even training her Sam to become a meteorologist. She wrote, "We trained him to to hunker down for the hurricane when it came through our area and when we say, 'What are you going to do when the hurricane comes,' Sam crawls on all fours and hunkers down."

Daisy the West Highland White Terrier

Daisy, of Sam's home state of Kentucky, is a West Highland white terrier and owner Darlene Vasser said she resembles Sam "because she is always happy, she is smart and makes me laugh. So does Sam!"

Wookie the Wheaten-Golden Retriever Mix

Amy Robinson of Mehoopany, Pa., rescued Wookie from a shelter. A soft-coated wheaten-golden retriever mix, Amy said that Wookie "is a joy and laughs a lot, just like darling Sam."

Diane, Robin and Charlie's Dog Look-Alikes

A few years ago, when "World News" anchor Charlie Gibson was on "Good Morning America," viewers sent in their doggie look-alike photos for Diane Sawyer, Robin Roberts and Gibson.
