Israel bombs Hezbollah targets in Beirut overnight
The Israel Defense Forces said Sunday its warplanes attacked Hezbollah targets in Beirut's southern suburbs overnight.
The strikes again focused on Dahiya, a southern area of the capital known as a Hezbollah stronghold.
The strikes targeted "weapons manufacturing and maintenance facilities and a weapons storage facility," the IDF said in a post to X.
The IDF said it "eliminated" around 70 Hezollah fighters and struck more than 120 Hezbollah targets in the previous 24 hours, as its ground operation in the south of the country continued.
