— -- Salah Abdeslam, the Paris terror attacks suspect who was arrested on March 18 in the Belgian capital of Brussels, has a hearing today to decide on the logistics of his return to France.

The French national, who is being held in jail in Bruges, was not in court himself. His lawyer, speaking to reporters outside the courtroom, said Abdeslam would accept his return to France and wants to cooperate with French authorities.

Abdeslam is suspected of planning and helping execute the attacks in Paris that killed 130 people last November.

Belgium's federal prosecutor is expected to meet the suspect in jail before another hearing to be held later today.

Three other terror cases were scheduled to be heard in Brussels involving suspects linked to the failed terror plot in France, but the hearings have been postponed until April 7.

Abdeslam's lawyer has said that his client "didn't know" in advance about March 22's bombings in Brussels.
