— -- At least nine people have been killed, including some civilians, in an attack at a Crusader-era castle in Jordan, according to the country's Public Security Directorate (PSD).

One of the deceased is a female Canadian tourist, the officials said.

At least five of the deceased are Jordanian security officials, according to PSD.
