British artist Bruce Munro is best known for immersive and large-scale light-based installations. He is inspired largely by his interest in shared human experiences. His "Field of Light" installation was conceived while traveling and camping in the red desert with his fiancee (and now wife) Serena in 1992, in Uluru, Australia.
