North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met with South Korean President Moon Jae-in during a historic summit to discuss denuclearizing the peninsula and ending the war between the two nations that started in 1950. After crossing the line dividing the demilitarized zone, the two shook hands and began the armistice talks with a tree-planting ceremony and private reception. Soldiers move barricades on the Grand Unification Bridge that leads to the Peace House, the venue for the inter-Korean summit, near the demilitarized zone separating the two Koreas in Paju, South Korea, April 27, 2018.
