Thousands of Refugee Life Jackets Wash Ashore in Greece

— -- Thousands of life jackets and tire inner tubes blanket the shoreline in Lesbos, Greece -- serving as a reminder of the dangers each refugee who landed there has had to overcome.

Boats carrying refugees fleeing war and poverty continue to arrive at the Greek Island. Since the beginning of the year, more than 300,000 have traveled from Turkey to the island and dozens have died, the Associated Press said.
