British Woman Creates 'Harry Potter'-Themed Christmas Tree
It's a tree all potterheads would adore.
— -- One "Harry Potter" fan will have a very Harry Christmas.
British woman Kathryn Burnett combined her love of J.K. Rowling's popular book series with her love of Christmas to create a "Harry Potter"-themed Christmas tree that has gotten the attention of Potterheads worldwide.
"I have a good collection of 'Harry Potter' merchandise and I was thinking one day that it was a shame I kept it all in boxes in the cupboard under the stairs," she told ABC News.
Burnett, 29, said it took her eight hours to create her tree filled with "Harry Potter" memorabilia such as Harry Potter's glasses, Draco Malfoy's broomstick, and Hermione's time turner. The tree is even topped with a replica of the enchanted Sorting Hat.
The woman from Seaham, in County Durham in northeast England, said she collected the objects during her 11 trips to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London.
What was the hardest part of creating her Christmas tree?
"I would say placing most of the items on as they weren't tree decorations," Burnett said.
