Chicago Student Sports Portable Mistletoe to Score Kisses
A college student took to the streets with a stunt that surprised and amused.
— -- Chicago college student Blake Grigsby is spreading holiday cheer one smooch at a time, thanks to a handmade mistletoe contraption he designed to fit in his backpack.
The self-described actor and comedian, 21, posted a video on YouTube Wednesday showing him decked out with mistletoe above his head patiently waiting for kisses on the streets of Chicago.
Grigsby says he is a “positive prankster” who is not in it for the kisses but for the seasonal smiles that follow the Christmas kiss.
“We love these positive videos,” Grigsby says, calling the device the “Mistletoe Kissing Contraption.”
“We love to do thing that make other people really happy,” he said. “Hopefully, along the way you meet people that are interesting and, hopefully, single.”
Grigsby’s YouTube video so far has 500,000 views and counting.
