Dad and Son Ambush Mom With Homemade Toilet Paper Shooter

— -- When mom’s away, the boys will play.

This hilarious father-son team played a prank for the ages on poor mom as soon as walks in the door, ambushing her with rapid-fire toilet paper shooting down the hallway.

“I’ve been reading my son this bedtime story called ‘The Sisters Grimm,’” dad Eric Chase, of San Diego, told ABC News. “One of the characters is Puck from Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream, who is also the Tricksters King. My son, Remy, was all into wanting to be a trickster and play pranks. He’s been asking me for weeks to play pranks.”

The two of them put their minds together and came up with the master plan to create their “Fire Base Charmin” station in the hallway, the perfect spot to attack unsuspecting mom.

“It’s a paint roller duct taped to a leaf blower, then we mounted that to a 6-step painting ladder and we decorated that with cardboard and signs to turn the hall into a Fire Base zone,” Chase explained.

“Don’t fire until you see the white in their eyes,” an animated Chase tells Remy, 6, in the hilarious YouTube video.

In a roaring success, the guys high-five as they fire away -- but it’s safe to say mom, Stasi, nipped that in the bud quite quickly.

“Me and my wife are pretty fun-loving,” said Chase. “He had a blast, but we have a couple other good ones in the works.”
