'Dogs of New York' Instagram Captures Pups of the Big Apple

Masha Goncharova, a New York-based journalist, said she started the Instagram account Dogs of New York after her pet golden retriever died of cancer. "I missed interacting with animals," she said. "I love animals and there's so many in the city that are so different. I was inspired by 'Humans of New York,' so I thought 'Why not do the same thing for dogs?'"
