Kansas City-based photographer Cate DePrisco has been photographing births since January. "It kind of started itself I'd say by a happy accident," she said. "I posted a photo on Instagram of one of my friends who asked me if I could photograph her [child's] birth. Before I knew it, people were following along and asking about the progress of mom."
