Sneak a Peek at the Disneyland Costumes Set to Be Auctioned

On Feb. 28 and March 1, Van Eaton Galleries in Sherman Oaks, Calif., will auction off performer and cast member original costumes including several items from Betty Taylor, the original Slue Foot Sue. Organizers say it is "the most comprehensive and complete collection to ever come to market and [it] provides an unprecedented narrative into the story of Walt Disney's beloved Disneyland theme park." The memorabilia spans the period from the beginning of Disney's planning to his expansions in Florida. There are several Slue Foot Sue pieces on auction, estimated in value at $8,000 to $9,000.
