— -- If you couldn't get the kids to Santa this year, don't worry because a new app will let the big guy come to you.

Thanks to "Hello Santa," kids can now meet the holiday hero from the comfort of their living room. The special North Pole Web service is a product of JibJab Media Inc., mainly known for its animated holiday cards.

Parents (or festive grandparents, aunts or uncles) have a choice between a prerecorded message from Santa for $9.99 or a live video call all the way from the North Pole, for $19.99.

To make sure Santa knows all the important details about each child, parents can give some important details to "Hello Santa," including their child’s age, favorite holiday tradition and what important task -- eating veggies, doing homework -- they need to work on for next year.

You may not get to have the kids sit on Santa's lap for a picture, but you can always take a screen grab.
