— -- A long time ago in a galaxy bark, bark away, these adorable pups battled the bark side in a new “Star Wars” parody video called Paw Warz.

"Help me Puppy Wan Kenobi,” the dog version of Princess Leia says in the video. “You’re my only hope.”

The entertaining clip from the folks at “Pet Collective” reenacts several key scenes from the “Star Wars” films using the costumed canines as the main characters.

“It’s an in-pup-erial cruiser,” said doggy Han Solo. “I’m going to make the jump to light speed.”

The force is strong with Puppy Wan Kenobi, Yo Dog and the others as they battle Bark Vader in the puppy-themed parody, which comes just in time for “Star Wars” Day on May 4.

All the cute puppies in the video are from the rescue organization Saving K9 Lives Plus and are currently up for adoption.
