— -- Everybody thinks his or her child is the cutest, but Dennis Jacobs has proof.

It’s in a video the Los Angeles man posted that shows his young son’s reaction to the word “touchdown.”

Jacobs, 30, told ABC News on Wednesday that he and his wife, 29-year-old Lanae, are big football fans. They had tried to teach their son, Ace, to give the classic reaction to the word “touchdown,” but he hadn’t seemed to be paying much attention.

“It was pretty much like anything else you do with a baby … sometimes they smile and sometimes they don’t,” said Jacobs, who works as an assistant director in the TV industry.

One day in October, Ace had a different response.

“We had ESPN on in the background and they were talking about the games coming up that week and they’d said on TV, you know, this team needs to score this many touchdowns. And when he heard it, he threw his hands up. And we were like ‘are you kidding right now?’” he said.

Jacobs grabbed his phone and began to record. He said the word “touchdown” again, and Ace paused briefly before throwing his arms up in the air and making a face that prompted chuckles among Jacobs’ friends and many of the approximately 270,000 people who have watched the video since it was posted to YouTube on Oct. 9.

“It’s hilarious. It’s only seven seconds … and that face that he made, I don’t think he’s ever made that face before,” Jacobs said.
