Steven Kasher Gallery presents the exhibition of Neil Latham: American Thoroughbred, which runs from June 9 to July 29. The idea for the collection began in 2013 when Latham took a drive from New York City into horse country to clear his head after his mother’s death. Latham convinced horse owners and trainers to let him photograph their multimillion-dollar racehorses. He photographed many thoroughbred legends and shared a unique connection with retired racing legend Zenyatta. Pictured: American Thoroughbred #7 (Zenyatta), 2013, Gelatin silver print, printed 2016.
