ABC News to Broadcast President Obama's Address to Congress and the Republican Response on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 8 P.M., ET

Sept. 8, 2009 -- ABC News will broadcast live coverage of President Barack Obama's address to a joint session of Congress and the Republican response from Rep. Charles Boustany, R-La., on Wednesday, September 9 from 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET / 5:00-6:00 p.m., PT.

Charles Gibson will anchor the coverage from New York, with Chief Washington Correspondent and host of "This Week" George Stephanopoulos reporting from Washington, DC.

Terry Moran will anchor a special "Nightline" from Washington, DC on Wednesday evening (11:35 p.m. - 12:05 a.m., ET/PT) with comprehensive reporting and analysis of the address and response.

David Chalian, ABC News' Political Director, and Rick Klein, ABC News' Senior Political Reporter and author of "The Note," will anchor ABC News NOW's live coverage of the Presidential address and Republican response at 8:00 p.m., ET. ABCNEWS.com will live-stream the coverage and will also provide extensive reporting from ABC's team of political correspondents in Washington, DC.

ABC News Radio's Aaron Katersky will anchor coverage beginning at 8:00 p.m., ET, along with ABC News Radio's Ann Compton from the White House and ABC News Radio's Vic Ratner on Capitol Hill through the GOP response.
