— -- Donald Trump is making his first trip abroad as a presidential candidate today, visiting Scotland for the grand re-opening of his golf resort in Turnberry.

On the campaign trail, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee had touted his ability to defeat his opponents. Off the trail, he has made similar assertions about his fellow golfers. And some of those individuals have shared their thoughts on the Trump’s golfing abilities.

Football stars Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger have both golfed with Trump.

In an interview with GQ Magazine, Brady said that Trump “just doesn’t lose.” Roethlisberger has refrained from commenting on the candidate’s game, but that did not stop Trump from telling a crowd in Pittsburgh that the Steelers quarterback is “with us 100 percent.”

Former Republican competitors of Trump’s from the race to the White House also competed against him on the green.

After learning of an attack ad Sen. Rand Paul released, Trump replied with an anecdote of a golf matchup with the senator, reportedly writing, “I easily beat him on the golf course and will even more easily beat him now.”

Some prominent professional golfers have praised the presumptive Republican nominee’s game.

Lexi Thompson, a prominent LPGA professional golfer, told Golf Magazine that Trump’s tee shots travel over 250 yards.

Jim Herman, who got his first PGA Tour win in April, credited the presidential candidate with helping him begin his professional golf career.

“He helped me early on in my years financially and maybe just a little shot in the arm of confidence,” he told Golf Magazine.

And while Trump has never hit the green with his opponent, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, he has golfed with her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

In a 2012 interview that aired on CNN, Clinton said of Trump, “I like him, and I love playing golf with him.”
