New Hampshire traditionally holds the nation’s first primary. The New Hampshire Republican primary were momentous for Donald Trump. It was his first win of the primary season with 35.3 percent of the vote. In the New Hampshire Democratic primary, Hillary Clinton was dealt a double digit loss to Sen. Bernie Sanders. However, New Hampshire polling has shown the state leaning Hillary Clinton's way, creating a firewall that blocks any attempt by Trump to cobble together a series of smaller states.
