Hillary Clinton is positioned to be the first woman in history to lead a major party, a milestone not lost on the former secretary of state.

The now-presumptive Democratic presidential nominee tweeted a message to young girls across the country that they could aspire to be anything they wanted to be, including president.

"To every little girl who dreams big: Yes, you can be anything you want -- even president. Tonight is for you," Clinton tweeted out Tuesday evening before speaking at a rally in Brooklyn, New York.

The tweet included a photo of Clinton’s dancing with a young girl. It was capped off with her signature "H," indicating she wrote the tweet herself.

The tweet has garnered more than 40,000 “likes” and has been retweeted more than 25,000 times.
